The primary job responsibilities of the Direct Support Professionals include: 

  • Providing direct support services to individuals, including supervision and skill development consistent with individual choices and outcomes
  • Maintaining documentation requirements involving individual and/or program record-keeping
  • Assist the Home Coordinators and/or Case Coordinators with case management responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise the individuals in self-administrating medications
  • Performs various other duties as may be assigned


Direct Support Professional Job Type

  • Part-time
  • Full-time


Direct Support Professional Work Schedule 

  • Flexible shifts (morning, evening overnight)
  • Weekdays
  • Weekends


Direct Support Professional Minimum Experience

  • 1 year of caregiving


Direct Support Professional Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
  • Acceptable motor vehicle and criminal records report
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Acceptable Pre-Employment Drug Screen
